1) Overview and Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Otium Automation Agency Inc. dba Monkeypod Marketing (“Monkeypod,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use monkeypod.app and our branded mobile apps (the “Services”).

By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2) Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account & Profile: name, email, password (hashed), profile details you choose to share.

  • User Content: posts, comments, messages, and files you submit in courses or the community.

  • Device & Usage: IP address, device type, app version, pages/screens viewed, time stamps, crash logs, and diagnostic data (to operate, secure, and improve the Services).

  • Support Communications: content of messages you send to [email protected] or via in-app/contact forms.

  • Cookies/SDKs: limited cookies or mobile SDK signals for session management, authentication, and analytics. (No cross-site advertising cookies are used by the learning portal.)

Children: The Services are intended for users 16+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.

3) How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • operate, maintain, and secure the Services;

  • create and manage accounts;

  • display your User Content within courses and community features;

  • provide customer support and communicate about service-related updates;

  • monitor performance, debug, and improve the Services; and

  • comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms, and protect the safety of users.

We do not use learning-portal data to build or train generalized AI models unrelated to operating or improving the Services.

4) Legal Bases (EEA/UK)

Where applicable, we process personal data on the basis of: (i) performance of a contract (providing the Services), (ii) legitimate interests (security, improvement, fraud prevention, and community management), (iii) consent (where required), and/or (iv) compliance with legal obligations.

5) How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with:

  • Service Providers/Processors that host, support, or help operate the Services (e.g., infrastructure, analytics, crash reporting, authentication). They may only use data as instructed by us.

  • Community/Platform Vendors integrated for course delivery or community features (to the extent necessary to operate those features).

  • Legal/Compliance if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the Services.

  • Business Transfers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or similar transaction, subject to this Policy.

We do not share SMS opt-in data or phone numbers with third parties except providers necessary to deliver messaging features (if applicable).

6) International Transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. We take appropriate measures to protect personal data in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.

7) Data Retention

We retain information as long as needed to provide the Services, for legitimate business purposes (e.g., security, backups), and as required by law. We will delete or anonymize data when it is no longer necessary.

8) Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No security measure is perfect; please keep your credentials secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

9) Your Choices & Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object to/limit processing, or port certain data. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To make a request, contact [email protected]

We may take steps to verify your identity and will respond consistent with applicable law.

Marketing & Notifications: The learning portal avoids promotional messaging. For service notifications (e.g., security, policy updates), you may not be able to opt out of strictly necessary communications.

Do Not Track: The Services do not respond to browser DNT signals.

10) Third-Party Links

The Services may link to third-party sites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.

11) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date shows the latest change. Continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Policy.
